Gynecology & Obstetrics

SSH’s Gynaecology & Obstetrics Department is dedicated to giving their best in terms of clinical support, proper guidance and healthcare for women in the treatment and management of gynaecologic and obstetric conditions – from routine care to complex high-risk situations. Our Obstetricians specialize in the surgical care of women and their children during pregnancy, delivery/childbirth and post-natal care while our Gynaecologists offer preventive reproductive health care and treat diseases. The department also deals with mammograms, pap smear, uterine or vaginal infections, fertility problems or contraception, tubal ligations and hysterectomies, and utilizes minimally invasive laparoscopic surgeries and laser surgeries for the treatment of female reproductive organ issues. The department is fully equipped with state-of-the-art Maternity Unit, which has built-in labour OT, labour rooms and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). We also provide breast feeding counselling, as well as antenatal counselling sessions.
