The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) provides cares for prematurely born babies (neonates) who are not fully developed and unable to survive on their own without the assistance of sophisticated equipment. Babies may also be admitted to the NICU if they had problems during delivery or developed a problem right after birth that requires specialized care.
The team of doctors in the NICU compromise of neonatologists, pediatricians, and OB/GYNs, as well nurses who specialize in neonatal care, including neonatal nurse practitioners, and technicians who help operate and maintain the equipment in the NICU.
Our NICU is equipped with state-of-the-art technology to care for premature or critically ill newborns. Our skilled neonatologists, nurses, and support staff provide round-the-clock care to ensure the best outcomes for our youngest patients.
