Acceptance of Hospital Regulations
By registering as an outpatient (OPD), being admitted as an inpatient (IPD), undergoing diagnostic testing, or visiting the facilities of Shilmoon Specialized Hospital, patients, accompanying guardians, and visitors agree to abide by all clinical standards, hospital administrative rules, and staff directives outlined herein.
Medical Consultations & Diagnostic Care
Clinical advice, prescriptions, surgical interventions, and diagnostic analyses are delivered by licensed healthcare professionals based on established evidence-based medical science. Patients are responsible for providing complete, honest medical backgrounds (including preexisting conditions, drug allergies, and current medications) to ensure clinical safety.
Payments, Billing & Pricing Transparency
We are committed to ethical pricing and clear itemized billing:

- check_circle Inpatient admissions require standard admission deposit advances, and interim settlement bills are issued regularly during prolonged hospital stays.
- check_circle For ultra-poor patients admitted under our Reserved Beds Quota, 100% cashless zero-billing (0 Taka) applies per established social welfare guidelines.
Appointments & Emergency Precedence
While our staff strive to respect confirmed specialist consultation appointment timings, emergency triage protocols always take precedence. In the event of critical trauma surgeries, acute cardiac episodes, or resuscitations, scheduled OPD appointments may experience necessary delays. We kindly request patience and understanding.
Inpatient Visitor Hours & Hygiene Standards
To preserve sterile recovery environments and protect immunocompromised patients, strict visiting guidelines apply. General ward visiting hours are 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Access to ICU, NICU, Dialysis, and Operation Theatres is strictly restricted to authorized medical personnel and single approved attendants during designated briefing windows. Smoking, tobacco use, and noise disturbances are strictly prohibited on hospital premises.
Zero Tolerance for Workplace Harassment
Our doctors, nurses, paramedics, and support staff dedicate their lives to saving lives. Shilmoon Specialized Hospital maintains a zero-tolerance policy regarding physical intimidation, verbal abuse, or harassment directed at hospital personnel or fellow visitors. Any such incidents will result in immediate escort from the premises and referral to local law enforcement.
